Okay – so you have someone you need to buy a gift for. Are you stuck for ideas? Maybe you like the thought of giving them a gift hamper but you aren’t quite sure which one would be suitable?
Gifts like these can be perfectly traditional, but sometimes it’s better to go for something a little bit different. And in that case, why stay with familiar ingredients and additions to the basket? Why not cross borders and find something more adventurous to give to that special someone in your life?
Sampling some of the delights that people in other countries have become used to, is one of the best ways to give a novel food gift basket for a special occasion. Do you know someone who is heading off on a honeymoon to see the historic sights that Britain has to offer, for example? Make sure you give them a Best of British gift basket to send them off in style. That way they will get a taste of such British classics as Branston pickle, Cadbury’s chocolate and Yorkshire puddings. Read More

If someone were to ask you what occasions you could think of, the chances are that you would immediately think about Christmas, birthdays, Easter, weddings and so on.
But there are plenty of other occasions that we all tend to celebrate as well, and a gift basket is just as good for celebrating those as it is at any other time. So let’s look at how you can help the people you love celebrate those special and notable times in their lives.
You might not automatically think of sending a gift basket when you find out someone you love has just landed the job of their dreams, but it could be just the ticket – especially if that job has a foreign flavour. For example, if someone you know is emigrating to Britain to work on a new project with their company, why not treat them to a Best of British basket to get them in the mood before they go? That way they can enjoy a taste of the foods they will experience once they get there! And Kosher gift baskets work well for Bar Mitzvahs, of course. Read More

What’s the best thing about gift baskets, do you think? I’m quite sure that several things will immediately have sprung to mind for you, and that in itself will give you the answer – gift baskets are one of the most delightful and exciting gifts you could hope to receive.
But perhaps the best benefit they have is that they are extremely versatile and are suitable for giving at any time of the year. It’s obvious that we will think of them more when we have a huge list of gifts to buy people at Christmas, and also when Easter and birthdays roll around, but why wait until then to show someone how you feel about them?
And as time goes on, gift baskets are becoming more intriguing as well. Let’s suppose you have an English friend staying with you and they are feeling a little homesick. Why not surprise them with a Best of British gift basket to make them feel a whole lot better? Any Brit will tell you that life without Cadbury’s chocolate or Branston pickle is virtually unthinkable, so they will love being treated in such a thoughtful way. Read More

Have you ever been caught out and forgotten someone’s birthday? We’ve all done it from time to time, and there is nothing worse than the sinking feeling you get when you realise that someone’s special day is imminent and you don’t have a card to hand – or even enough time to get to the shops to buy one – and get it in the mail in time to reach them.
Luckily that’s where a gourmet gift basket can solve the problem. So long as you have access to the internet you can take a couple of moments to find the ideal gift for them and get it paid for and sent on its way – and it’s a whole lot faster than having to nip out to search for a card!
What’s more, you can be sure that even if it is too late to get the gift basket to the lucky recipient before their special day, they won’t even notice once they open their front door to receive this delightful package. And you’ll know when they have received it because they are bound to give you a quick call to thank you for your generosity. Read More
